How To Master Your Priorities and Daily Rituals

Master Your Priorities

In order to become strong and thrive in your daily life it takes obedience, discipline, and proper management of principles. Anyone can overcome obstacles or push their way to the front of the line. It just takes initiative and the willpower to do so.

One of the main things that I have learned over the years of my life, is that the only thing that matters is this moment right here, right now. You can easily get lost in your train of thoughts or the abundance of information that is placed in front of the eye every second, however you have to look at what needs to get done now.

By now, I mean this instant or this day. If you can’t get on your feet and face your obstacles you will only set things back. Procrastination is like a credit card, it’s fun to use until it’s time to pay the bill.

If you’re like most people you probably try to juggle different methods of problem solving, however you may still feel like you’re falling slightly short of your goals or your accomplishments within a given time frame.

Everyone faces their own personal circumstances and everyone’s situation is different, but once you learn how to create and become the controller of your outer world, any situation may change into your personal favor.

It may take practice, but you can master any form of art, or any trade if you simply realize your personal creative powers and put your body and mind to work. As long as you believe in the fact that you are the master of the seeds of your being, your ideals shall unveil.

Attainment can come through concentration and correctly applying the direction of your focus. Attainment can also be acquired by successfully leading upon your principles.

Here’s a layout that I’ve created to help anyone find a more successful path towards prosperity and mastery:

  1. Develop an income. Be proactive. Seek out jobs, work, or projects. Don’t simply wait for things to come to you.
  2. Self-Educate, read books, magazines, blogs, and utilize online MOOC’s or  iTunes U.
  3. Learn new trades or skills that will be valuable for a lifetime.
  4. Become independent and self-sufficient.
  5. Have two budgets: An Operational Budget and Opportunities Budget.
  6. Exercise daily and stay active.
  7. Develop decision making abilities.
  8. Become a better listener… Be attentive. (Nobody likes to be ignored.)
  9. Figure out the question… What is my special talent or talents? What can I contribute to society?
  10. Set up a wise schedule to ensure adequate work is completed and time is not wasted.
  11. Set goals, and complete them for each upcoming week.
  12. Wake up early and go to sleep early, late-night weekends are acceptable for socializing. (It’s not healthy to always abstain from fun!)

One thing that I will mention that is critical to develop in order to become a master of priorities and very disciplined is to develop a BS monitor. In other words for me, I personally look around and see certain substances, items, or activities as providing little positive benefit for me and for the outer world as a whole. For instance when I go to a gas station and I walk inside, I can immediately see stacks of gum, candy bars, and cigarettes which are just a few items that I can mention that would provide little benefit to my body or my existence.

For some people these items are like magnets and every time they see them they feel an innate urge to buy and consume toxic items. I like to treat myself well and I don’t consider junk like candy bars, aspartame filled gum, or cigarettes as substances that contribute to my well-being. I don’t mean to sound like a pessimist, I’m just stating that these items provide use for some people, however I feel like they don’t provide lasting value.

If you educate yourself,  and learn disciplinary habits you can begin to walk through life and easily decipher what is worth your time and what isn’t. Through time you also begin to realize what is worth ingesting, and what should be simply avoided. Spending your time in environments which take advantage of you, or your creative willpower are best to be left behind. If you’re a winner build a winning mentality and leave toxic  habits behind in the dust.

For years I’ve been testing myself day in and day out and I’m always trying to figure out how I can maximize my potential and provide a spark for the world. Here are a couple ingredients to sink into your brain…

  1. You are the decision maker.
  2. You are what you do; but achievements alone, don’t define you.
  3. You are NOT what you have. Possessions try to control us and enslave us, but try not to let this happen.
  4. You are not separate from everyone else. We all share this world together.
  5. You don’t have to wait for approval or other people’s assessment of your worthiness.

There you are, you don’t need to have permission to get your goals done, go out and get what you want. Be a go-getter, set your own trends, live how you please. Once you work towards a position or level of obtainment, you begin to see how important it is to position yourself well.

If you aren’t willing to work to get towards your goals, you’re only setting yourself back. Sometimes you might get pushed around, whether it be by people, or other activities and tasks that fight for your time. What it takes is initiative to take a stand, and if you have to, you’ve got to push your way towards the front.

Never accept anything less than what you know your self-worth represents. Don’t watch the clock, and don’t pay attention to the naysayers. Just keep going until you’ve mastered whatever it is that you set out to accomplish, and while you’re at it, remember to feel alive and spread the gifts of life whenever you can!

An Introduction To My Art of Blogging

The Art of Blogging

I first got introduced to blogging and following a blog consistently when I found marksdailyapple.com.  The author Mark Sisson, had a great lifestyle which had a magnetizing effect on me and how I wanted to potentially live my life.

During my junior year of high school, I really began to develop a strong interest in diets, eating healthy, and overall health and wellness in general. After researching the Paleo diet and seeing the benefits of developing more lean muscle, better skin quality, and overall well-being, I figured out that the Paleo diet was a lifestyle worth implementing.

I say lifestyle because the diet and the foods that you consume are truly based upon your lifestyle and how you choose to live. Dieting is much like philosophy because it depends on your set of beliefs as well as your surrounding environment. Whether you want to live fast and in poor health, or take extra time to be creative and make your own meals, what you eat is up to you.

Over the course of time my interests have always been expanding and new ideas have constantly erupted exponentially. As a result I constantly turn towards new areas of learning and ways to become better and a more productive person for society.

I have worked various jobs outside of school, which have helped me develop a sense of discipline and provided me with an idea of practicing support for customers and shoppers. The plus side is whenever I am able to connect well with everyday people and provide them with answers and solutions to their searches. Although my jobs have provided minimal pay which enable little freedom without the display of hard work for many hours, I believe the experiences that I’ve gained in different working environments have helped shaped my personality and my outlook on how to change the world one step at a time.

My school experiences have been spent in public schools and college, although I have always felt that my greatest interests and hunger for learning seem to spark when I teach myself through self-education.

I believe that school systems provide a strong set of standards for people in order to learn and good guidelines to follow, however many children slip up, or get caught up with personal situations and they often feel like the school system doesn’t always provide them the care and assistance that they need.

It is easy for the youth today and many people to become trapt in a negative mindset through the influence of media and sources that put down the idea of human potential. As a result I would like to help rejuvenate the minds of people in order to help restart the potential of businesses, workers, students, and people of all trades and professions.

As a result I have designed a destination where people can go to find themselves and reach deeply within in order to help find a way in which life can be lived with a radiance of positivity.

When you visit my website you can find multiple facets. You can find my personal philosophy, ideas on the current health paradigm, advice, recipes, and even possible stories of experiences.

Despite the struggle that I face of figuring out a way to balance income generation with school and my passions, I have found that the only way to conquer obstacles is through self-reliance.

In order to become a better person or a stronger being, learning how to become self reliant and teaching yourself the discipline of action is a must.

It is easy to be complacent and lazy, however it is much harder to always produce through successful action.

As I have discovered the blogosphere, I have found that it is loaded with an infinite amount of topics. In order to conduct a blog in a compelling manner it is essential to build a generous following and provide an attractive writing style. I have found that there appears to be different classes of blogs:

  1. Messenger Blogs- These are blogs that serve as purpose maximizers. With this the author is trying to send a lasting message.
  2. Informative Blogs- These blogs look to teach and spread knowledge through the use of research and recent global news affairs.
  3. Product Blogs- This type of blog pushes a product or service in a niche area towards a target audience or customer base.

A blog can have different influences. Some people simply look to share their expertise and knowledge on various subject matter. For me I’m simply looking for a way in which my message can spread throughout local communities all the way across the globe. If I can spread the message of positive beliefs, I believe a better world of leaders can emerge.

As Walt Disney once stated, “Whatever you do, do it well. Do it so well that when people see you do it they will want to come back and see you do it again, and they will want to bring others and show them how well you do what you do.” I hope I can create the world that I want, even if starts off word by word before steps of action.

My goal is to display my true self and to let others see that creative vision can be shared by everyone. If I can provide hope and share love for life I’ll try to use that light to lighten the path of others. I feel that by sharing knowledge and skills, every person can make life better and live a more fulfilling life. While I am anxious and hungry to always learn and discover new pathways I am aware that action comes through creative visions.

While vocations can come and go for some, I know others find occupations of passion that don’t feel like work at all. If I can provide that little daily bag of sunshine for lives in any way possible, I know that I’ll have lived fully, deeply, and vibrantly. After all, why not live fully and presently in every moment and make a difference in other people’s lives if you think you can do so?

Dealing With The Priority of Money Management

Money Management

One of the biggest elements that prevents people from living a free life or a life of unlimited choices usually depends upon money. I think that one of the most essential skills for Americans to learn is the crucial skill of  learning how to spend one’s money.

The biggest problem that many people face is excessive debt, or what I call debt slavery. The sorry state of having money hanging over your head, usually isn’t something that people like to brag about at the bar. Whether you spent too much money on an education, your car or home, it has been a common characteristic of Americans over the last 20-30 years to spend beyond reach. We live in a society that praises heavy consumption, yet little people produce enough goods or value to compensate for the amount of money we all spend on purchasing.

The essential knowledge of financial literacy is the same skill that we should have been taught as young children. Saving money is the key to growth as it leads to the ability to finance capital investments.

After all, if we never had people with savings and capital for investing, we wouldn’t be able to regenerate  job creation or increase the output of goods and services for society.

A society that lacks any savings cannot grow, and an individual who lacks savings cannot build and create until proper financial management is resolved.

People need to increase savings and produce value. On the other hand we all need to decrease unnecessary spending and debt. Overall as a society the western world ruled by global banks has reached a point of high consumption and little production.

As Peter Schiff states in his book The Real Crash, “We have been trading production for consumption.” (Schiff, 19).

One way to identify what may be causing problems within one’s own life or your families life is to track where your money is being spent.

Here I have created a list of things that people generally spend their money on. There is a good chance that I may have left some items off of the list, that may be playing a role in your own personal life. Feel free to make your own additions, if you feel any additional items may be a part of your expenses.

What Do People Spend Their Money On?

  • Food
  • Clothes
  • Shelter/Housing
  • Health and Medicine
  • Entertainment/Leisure
  • Education
  • Exercise Memberships
  • Supplements
  • Alcohol & Drugs
  • Travel Expenses
  • Childcare
  • Pets & Accessories
  • Material Goods & Toys
  • Manual Services
  • Care-giving
  • Therapy
  • Dental Care
  • Electricity
  • Gas
  • Internet

Chances are that if you live in the western world you spend money on multiple listings that I mentioned above. It is not necessarily a bad thing to spend money on items that I mentioned above. A lot of things are essential for human survival and for the progress of everyday life.

My ultimate goal for myself and other people is to find a way to build discernment and discipline of what I should say no to. The best way to save money or build a larger income is to learn how to say no and cut off areas of unnecessary spending.

If you want a good practical guide on how to Say No to certain experiences and everyday matters that may negatively be effecting you, check out James Altucher’s book.

One way that I like to look at expenses is by asking which accessories can easily be downsized, or what stuff I can sell off  that I don’t need. It really isn’t necessary to continue paying for a 2000 square foot house for instance when a married couple no longer has children living at home. It also isn’t necessary to pay a lease of $700 a month on a nice luxurious sedan like an Audi A6, if you were only making $40,000 a year.

Another great way to fatten up the wallet is to cut down transportation costs and drive less or take advantage of public transportation. Biking to school or work, or even using a car with good gas mileage is always a win-win. According to Entrepreneur Magazine, “Transportation is the second largest expense for the average American family.”

Nowadays it’s all about making smart decisions and using your own logic and common knowledge to figure out what is worth the cost and what exists within your own personal market of spending.  If you are spending just for the sake of pleasure and self-indulgence when you have no real money to back that spending, it results in a foolish wreckage of debt or even worse personal bankruptcy.

I’m not saying that people should sell everything that they own, or never buy anything at all. My main focus is to re-direct people so that they learn how to live within their own means and lead a happy life by not entangling themselves with financial chaos.

If you are smart enough to master your area of interest or create something of value for other people’s lives that other people will pay for, I’m sure that you can laugh all the way to the bank.

The problem for most people is deciphering what is worth one’s time and what isn’t worthwhile. Once you decide what is worth your time, you can begin to develop methods of making money and saving money in your free-time. If you are the type of person who has ideas but no money, look for possible opportunities of partnership or possible investment companies.

Don’t be the type of person who waits half their life-time before they actually take any form of action to obtain personal enrichment.

The paper chase is something that everyone has to deal with, but not everyone has to chase paper. Money management requires clear vision and a well rounded understanding of cash flow.

The beautiful thing about money is the freedom that it can enable for you to do the things that you enjoy. In order to seize freedom you have to execute opportunity. The best way to achieve freedom is to build a platform from which you launch your personal arsenal of strategies.

It doesn’t always make much sense to focus your energy on spending less money, when you can redirect your focus on making more money. Yes, the small changes to cut expenses will pay dividends down the road, but your potential earning power is the one factor that theoretically holds an unlimited value. My best advice to obtain a full plate is to keep your projects and if haven’t already, start to emulate the behaviors of the income generating genius’ that walk their talk.

Deal with money as a means to an end, and be a nighthawk who never sleeps on the adoption of monetary details!

The Lessons I Learned During A Minimester

Lesson's of A Minimester

These last few months I’ve had to ride some waves of change. During the course of two weeks I learned some interesting facts about myself.

One thing I came to grips with early, is that when I am motivated or if I have deadlines due, I am self-confident and motivated enough to wake up and conquer challenges. I’ve also learned that if you aren’t ready to wake up and put a fight each day, you’ll end up with your ass in the sand. Once you begin to realize that if you are willing to put forth the effort, you can wake up each day bright and early and face your obstacles head on with success, everything else can appear dispensable. However if you aren’t driven enough or motivated enough to make each day a success your results will let you know.

Reality and results will always keep it real with you. Reality never passes you a free golden ticket to freedom or adventure.

Sometimes this can be learned the hard way, unless you happen to be a child born of a privileged family who can have access to experiences and events at a much sooner stage.

So let me begin by telling you what I learned. Although I spent two and a half weeks in a constant forward motion, trying to master as much information as I possibly could and regurgitate it out every morning in order to pass and prove my abilities. I discovered something about myself and school in general. I could do the work and survive the grind day in and day out, but my problem wasn’t the work itself. My problem had been and continues to be the results.

When you do the hard work and your knowledge is tested when it matters most, you have to be in fluid form. In other words you need to be in sync with the rhythm of tasks that you need to conquer. However at the same time you also need to be consciously aware of what you’re doing at all times. One area that I seem to suffer with is maintaining my focus at a conscious level so I can actively reiterate what I’ve learned. Getting caught up in the abyss of thought and the distracting patterns of the technological world can really kill your focus.

After studying all day and placing my full effort into the assignments and quizzes I would go to sleep quite late. I would get to the point where I was completely immersing myself in the curriculum and I wouldn’t do anything else but think about finding a solution to my coursework problems. From a productivity stance, it was great and it was necessary, because their was no other way I could complete that level of work without being completely focused and driven.

What I feel is happening is that the very system that we are implementing is currently pushing students to a high limit and it is educating citizens across the globe at an unbelievable level. That being said, it is becoming harder than ever to balance daily life and it’s demands while simultaneously being productive at a masterful level.

I will provide my very own reason I believe this change is happening.

There was a week where I had to watch over a large property, feed a German Short-hair, and take care of two chicken coops. At the same time I was carrying a full load of a minimester class and conducting Finite Mathematics in the time-span of two-weeks. It was at this moment that I felt I had reached a certain peak. I was living in a position that may have felt surreal to some.

In this position I had control and responsibility over a property that I could only dream upon owning one day. I was in the presence of a fancy property all under my control. With this responsibility came work and the need to prove myself. It was through the action of providing for the animals and for myself, that I began to feel a renewed sense of responsibility and an elevated feeling of pursuit. It was no easy task waking up at 4am or 5am each morning, it required discipline and determination in order to defeat and overcome obstacles.

When I woke up I knew that I was not only caring for myself but also the surrounding animals that accompanied the property.

I would wake up each day ready to go put myself to the test and realize my limit of potential. When you’re dead tired and you spent the entire day working mentally and physically, sleep is one of your best friends for maintaining a healthy mind. My problem was balancing the obscene amount of mental work and conducting my learning in completely fluid fashion.

I quickly learned that it would be a daunting task, however if you set your mind to work anything is possible if you put in the hours of work and you remain focused.

I’d have to say that preparing daily meals from scratch, feeding chickens, dog watching around the property and learning new mathematical material at an alarming pace has been one of the greatest challenges that I’ve undertaken. It has been through experiences like this past minimester that I feel I’ve learned a lot about what I am truly capable of.

Although I may not have been entirely successful in my venture and classroom experience, I feel that the settings and tasks that I had to complete helped me realize what prioritization is. When you work hard and you don’t necessarily meet a certain standard of success, there is still something to be gained from the experience. It is through the actions and by seeing the end result that you can begin to envision what it takes to reach a particular level.

Assignments suit the purpose of practicing material in order to become more familiar. The ultimate hope is to learn and master the skills of problem solving. Ultimately it is the habit of doing work and productivity that will lead you up the tower of your own personal pursuit.

As stated by Peter F. Drucker, “The only way to increase productivity of “labor” is to increase the productivity of the people, that is, the productivity of time and the productivity of knowledge.”

Results will always differ depending upon your results that you put forth. If you only put forth average quality work of average work ethic your fruit of your labor will simply be average. It is not until the awareness of performance, obeying strict orders, and doing skilled motions that one begins to form any realization of their possible value.

Once you begin producing high results you may finally get a glimpse of what you could be. If you put in the time and dedication you can begin to realize how much you can still improve or strengthen weaknesses. Productivity and excellence can only be accomplished when you have a hunger for continuous learning. The hunger for continuous learning will only lead to a better presentation of what you do best!

Stuffed Aubergine Mediterranean Recipe

Stuffed Aubergine Out of the diets out there in the world, the one that consistently shows up as one of the healthiest and most effective for longevity is the Mediterranean diet. The Mediterranean diet provides a good amount of healthy fats through oils like olive oil, as well as omega-3’s through fish oil. If you consider the great amount of vitamins and minerals provided through fresh fruits and vegetables, you will quickly understand why they are at the core of the Mediterranean pyramid.

As stated by the Mayoclinic, “Residents of Greece average six or more servings a day of antioxidant-rich fruits and vegetables. Grains in the Mediterranean region are typically whole grain and usually contain very few unhealthy trans fats. Also bread is an important part of the diet. However, throughout the Mediterranean region, bread is eaten plain or dipped in olive oil — not eaten with butter or margarine, which contains saturated or trans fats.” Anytime you have the ability to add a new variety of fruits and vegetables, your body will recognize the difference right away.

Ever since I dived deep into the study of nutrition, I read a book called Low-Fat Lies in my nutrition class. Unsurprisingly they recommend the Mediterranean diet, because of the importance of monounsaturated fats and polyunsaturated fats. When you include healthy fats in your diet, they will help with your cardiovascular health and aid in the ability to fend off disease.

As Harvard Health writer Heidi Godman states, “Good food is a pretty powerful health booster. Whole grains, legumes, fruit, and vegetables are packed with fiber, which slows digestion and helps control blood sugar. Monounsaturated fats in olive oil, nuts, and fish can have anti-inflammatory effects, which may help stave off heart disease and many other conditions. The fact that Mediterranean-style diets have health benefits isn’t entirely new. Past research has shown that this type of eating pattern can help lower cholesterol, help with weight loss, improve rheumatoid arthritis, and reduce the risk for developing Alzheimer’s disease, diabetes, and various types of cancer.”

There you have it, if preventing disease and maintaining good health are not goals of yours I have to question, why not?

If you do your research you will find that diets like the Mediterranean diet and the Paleo diet hold similar nutritional values. The major step of both diets includes cutting out typical processed American foods.

In order to give people a taste of the Mediterranean diet, I’ll share the Stuffed Aubergine, or eggplant recipe. This recipe provides a good dinner or addition to your evening plate

Here is the recipe…

Why You Need To Go All In

Go All In

One thing that I’ve learned over the past year is that accomplishment really depends upon your level of focus. For some time I have been trying to satisfy the demand of multiple goals and expectations that I have set upon myself.

Without completely realizing, I have only been putting forth only about 20% focus on writing, 25% effort on reading, and 50% focus on school.  This is just a guesstimate, depending upon the day and how I feel, these numbers can fluctuate and differ. As a result, what I’ve come to realize is that when you don’t completely focus on one area of your life or you start to neglect certain facets, it can seat you in a stationary state. As a result your potential to create and successfully maneuver to your desired place can be inhibited.

The importance that I’m trying to emphasize is that it is important to set goals for yourself and do as much as you think you’re capable of.  At the same time, it is very important to keep a balance. Starving yourself to the bone, or surviving off Pop-Tarts for a week, might help you get ahead with a massive amount of studying. But it probably won’t keep the conversations between your stomach and your esophagus at a standstill for very long. Or anyone who renders themselves blind by staring at computer screens for fourteen hours and twenty-two minutes a day, may be intellectual, but lack muscular definition.

What I’m getting at, is that what ever your motivations and focus is, you need to dive in deep and fully but do it carefully and with awareness.

A lot of people have dreams that appear unrealistic at the surface but can be fulfilled through proper guidance. Don’t let reality scare you off. If you take the proper steps and apply effort in the right directions anything can be accomplished.

In order to get closer to goals or dreams you have to be willing to take some risk. A lot of times, the risk may not always pay off with a reward,  so don’t be intimidated by failure. The deeper you dive, the more confidence you will have to build up in order to build yourself back up, especially to become even greater than you were beforehand.

The biggest enemy anyone has to conquer is fear. The biggest factor that affects decision-making is the fear of trying for the sake of failure. So go all in. Do what you like and reach for greater possibilities. Stretch your boundaries and do things to the best of your ability. As this Norman Vincent Peale quote states, “Shoot for the moon, even if you miss, you’ll land among the stars.”

Are you going to live the jet-life, traveling around the world? Will you be visiting old architectural sites, spending your lunches sipping on margaritas? If that’s your goal, well start figuring out a way that you can make enough income to support your travel costs or better yet, try to develop a passive income of some sort. Are you going to have one job for your career or will you jump to other careers for the sake of curiosity and potential? Write out the jobs that you can’t stop thinking about. Have you visited with any professionals, now is the time to start! Get out in the world and let people know that you are interested and willing to learn. Are you going to climb up the business ladder, of an exciting new start-up near you? What companies near your current location need help or are creating new branches? Start asking questions and find a way to answer these questions.

Are you already working for a company or are you still in the search for a job? You need to take directions in the pathway that you want to select. That’s how things get done, and that’s how the ball gets rolling 9.8 times out of 11.

Do you want to change the world by working for yourself, or by working under someone else?

Are you looking for ways to simply get paid, or are you willing to take the time and search out what you love to do? Once you feel you’ve made strides in the right direction, formulate a way to get paid for it!

Keep a balance and put your best work forth. If you place a little effort here and a little effort there, at times it’s needed. From a far when you do multiple tasks, it may not seem like you’re doing much, but if you know that you’re making strides everyday to become better, stronger, and faster at accomplishing goals then time will spell things out clearly. It’s called soul searching or discovering new pathways.

In order to find out which path best fits your persona you have to go all in and test different boundaries. Sometimes you have to break rules, cause some eyebrow raising or make others think deep, but eventually if you spend your time in the right areas you’ll discover your truest potential.

When you fully submit yourself towards any road ahead, you develop a  specific mindset.

A mind set upon reaching a planned destination is one that can conquer all obstacles even when staring in the eyes of defeat. Part of the beauty of writing or visualization, is that planning is something that can be applied. You can write out exactly how everything will fit snugly into your life, and how you can see it all happening if life works out fluidly. If you’re not that type and you prefer to go with whatever opportunities shape in your direction, well that can work too. Just remember, if things don’t work out, you can see where you made your mistakes.

LEARN, LEARN, LEARN!

If you apply what you learn, you won’t make the same mistakes twice.

Everyone has to take time to reflect and figure out their greatest strengths and learn how their personal dynamics can be applied. Everyone has separate skill sets, but once you discover those skills, apply them to the real-world, and do it with your whole heart. Remember that you control your own destiny, and what you produce comes down to the quality of your inner drive!

Trials With Rejection

Trials and Rejection

If you had to pick a set of characteristics would you choose confidence, strength, and security? Or would you choose hesitation, lack of ambition, and frustration?

Common sense would make you think that if you want to get the most out of life and everyday experiences, you would receive much more if you lived with confidence, strength, and security. Finding a good balance of these three characteristics may take you far, but still it takes more to go far in life.

Everybody has to face rejection and facets of negativity. The ability to bounce off of negative thoughts or reactions of others takes practice and requires resilience.

Take for example an encounter that I just witnessed at a coffee table at Barnes and Noble. A young man was having a long conversation about work, personal issues, and affairs with a barista girl across the counter. After a good conversation of over ten minutes, there was another young man who was sitting at a coffee table who seemed to be frustrated. After a break in the conversation, the man sitting at the table turned around and told the boy conversing with the barista girl that he should apply for a job with Barnes and Noble or Human Resources, so he can deal with other people’s problems. The man who was at the counter then reacted and said that he already had a job and that he wasn’t interested. This was not a satisfactory response for the man sitting at the coffee table. He told the man at the counter what he thought he should do. Get a job where he can talk all day; because he couldn’t handle sitting and listening to the conversation while he had to concentrate and focus. After hearing this conversation I had a good laugh and couldn’t help but hold a smirk on my face. Although the confrontation wasn’t too vulgar, I understood that their were a few feelings going on. A sense of jealousy and a sense of trying to put down the other opponent.

What I’m trying to relate to the audience in this lesson are a few things. In order to carry through trials of rejection you have to carry a fighting spirit and the ability to not let others put you down. One thing that everybody inevitably has to face is that some people will always try and put a negative spin on your day or take down your vibe.

The lesson that has to be learned is within. You have to learn to not give a flying hoot what others say or think and just carry on. Learn to smile or brush off what the other person says. Talk is cheap, so you can’t let little words get to your head or sway you in the wrong direction. It takes some practice, but if you can learn to compliment the other person or just laugh off something that another person says to you, you’re a pro.

If you add resilience to the suitcase of your personality that you carry with you across the world, you never know what magic you can cultivate. Learn to master and sharpen your current deck. Test out new scenarios and everyday confrontations. Just through observation you can learn something new everyday!

What You Can Do To Achieve More Happiness

Achieving Happiness

The more that you experience, see, and hear in the world around you, the more you begin to realize important little things about the world. As one should expect, the areas of your life that you emphasize will be your strong points. Although everybody makes mistakes here and there, part of life is what you gain from the experience’s that you’ve had.

Although being in a constant state of happiness or bliss might not necessarily be realistic for everyone, it is possible to drift in and out of happy states. As long as you can master the steps that help you become happy, you’ll be in great shape to conquer all obstacles that you encounter.

Here’s a list of things that you can do that can help with reaching a state of happiness…

1. Stop Negative Thoughts.

2. Stay Away From Things That Don’t Serve You Well.

3. Do Things That Release Stress.

  • Exercise
  • Lift Weights
  • Do Yoga
  • Meditate
  • Laugh
  • Enjoy Life
  • Spend Time With The People You Love
  • Eat Raw Healthy Foods

4. Relax (Yes relax even if you’re in a crazy-state of mind living a hectic lifestyle.)

5. Work on Interpersonal Relationships. (Aim to perfect how you relate and communicate with other people.)

6. Embrace Each Day As A New Beginning.

7. Be Confident In Yourself.

8. Build Up Other People.

9. Focus On What Truly Matters To You.

10. Avoid Destructive Behaviors. (Avoid thoughts or words that bring others down.)

11. Listen To The Words of Happy People.

Practicing a set form of steps can often help people better understand how certain things work. In order to truly learn how to be happy, I don’t think it’s something that is exactly achieved by simply reading a list. Being happy often depends on how you act, react, and choose to go about your daily routine. You can view life with pessimism, but it’s just way more effective to look at things with a fresher outlook.

Being proactive and picking up routines that not only display guidance to others but also for yourself often leads to productivity and good health.

From my perspective I seem to think that most of happiness comes through the grooming of strong emotional intelligence.

After all being happy comes down to how well you control your emotions. If you ask somebody who they think the happiest person that they know happens to be, it’s generally not somebody who happens to be an emotional wreck. Finding and maintaining emotional balance often leads to prolonged states of happiness.

I believe that everybody’s really living to strive towards happiness. But the secret of obtaining happiness narrows down to being in a setting where you can maintain good vibes and feelings. Sometimes we all feel like we have to search far and wide, but in reality you don’t have to go very far.

Despite the skepticism of mainstream media and some believers of conventional medicine, I believe the power of the mind and the personal aura, help lead to happiness. A good balance of emotions in various chakra’s, can help anyone attain a strong vibrational field of positive energy.

Developing your aura can lead to amazing things in the world around you and help you resonate positive feelings.

The mind is a beautiful tool and it’s capable of many things. One of the greatest things that most people simply let slip is their ability to create a whole reality built upon their inner emotional powerhouse.

What you do to achieve happiness starts today, it starts in the present moment. As long as you’re happiness surrounds the activities you do, you will always be able to find that happy state of being!

How The Way You Perceive Things Can Change Outcomes

Perceive Your Outcomes

A lot of times people look at things with an open-eye but that does not always translate into a broader perception. Take for example looking at your day to day grind and your overall finish as a means to reaching your end goals. Are you viewing your life simply as survival? Or are you looking at each day with the idea of thriving?

If you are vibrant and optimistic, than you will be self-confident and sure in yourself. Living check to check, just barely getting by and transitioning  from one shift to the next shift feeling like a tired sloth is not the way to thrive.

There are some major differences that you will begin to notice in your outlook, when you consider your life with a thriving mentality. When you consider the word thriving, according to the Merriam-dictionary website. What it actually means to thrive is, “to grow vigorously, or to  progress toward or realize a goal despite or because of circumstances.” Just as stated in the following:  http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/thrive.

Producing results at an optimal level always relates back to how you perceive things. Many people can twist results in their own favor, simply by mastering their perception and how the psychology of success and motivation really works. No matter what field or industry you work under, everyone involved in work has to produce results and spend time meeting and actualizing results.

If you look at each day fresh and renewed, you will easily approach working circumstances with the belief that you will work hard, and elevate your production level to meet the demand of your agreement.

Without a change in perception you cannot lead yourself into a positively inclined orientation.

Here is a list of how I like to change outcomes…

  • Be realistic within your time frame.
  • Set goals and know how much you are capable of in a given day.
  • Look at every outcome and focus on how you will thrive rather than succumb to pitfalls.
  • Know that the world is full of helpful resources.
  • Work hard until you know you have reached what you’ve been seeking.

Many people forget to emphasize how important it is to look at things with a fresh pair of lenses, but every time you renew and refresh you will see how standards continually change and how it takes further strength to build up your personal abilities.

Once you focus on what is really in front of you, and set your focus on that particular demand, you will find that many paths mimic one another no matter what field you choose to pursue.

Success, happiness, contribution, and leadership are all values of positively correlated output. If  you are to gain rapport and precedence in your specific field of interest, it all starts from inner potential.

Learn how to identify yourself, identify others, and learn how specific areas work. Once you develop a mindset of how certain areas work and you put yourself in scenarios that mimic the real-world, you can see your true ability. Constructing results always comes from personal potential. Potential always exists, but it comes and goes in swarms. As I’m sure you’ve experienced, some days happen to be more productive than others, it all depends upon how well you tapped into your potential for that given day.

Imagine yourself in an environment of constant fluid movement and constant welcoming of new tasks and assignments. The way you look at things constantly changes and the more you focus on bettering yourself the better others will function as well. When you spend time with others you bounce ideas and conversation with one another and once you’ve cultivated positive-thinking anything can happen.

Because of vibrancy and the ability to change outcomes for the better through perception, it shouldn’t matter how unpromising things may look or how tough someone’s life has been. If you cultivate resilience and build yourself through wise teachings, skills, and habits it will no longer matter where you’ve been and how bad your struggle once was.

It doesn’t matter what you’ve been told in the past, it doesn’t always matter what credentials you hold, what matters is how you believe in yourself and what levels you are going to seek in order to define your life’s ultimate achievements. What matters is how everyone and everything is linked through a unified level of perception. Through this level of unity we can all see beyond what was once just an idea.

As Author Jenny Blake states, “Don’t let others’ limited views of your possibilities discourage you. It is your unique vision or dream, and it is perfectly fine if they can’t see it yet.” What you perceive will ultimately determine what your reality will look like. All positions and all structures of design begin with your thoughts and how far you carry them.

Imagination comes from the mind, and imagination is one of the greatest tools of human perception. Just as Napoleon Hill says in his book Think and Grow Rich, “All breaks you need in life wait within your imagination, imagination is the workshop of your mind, capable of turning mind energy into accomplishment and wealth.”

If you adjust your mentality towards good values and you practice your knowledge and expertise, you can always win-out with positive thinking. All big changes begin through the motion of changing your waves of perception.

How Do We Transition People To A Nutritional Mindset?

Healthy Transitions

In America today, the youth and many adults are stuck in a fast-paced society. With busy lives, a lot of young people and parents scramble around and tend to set off their health and well-being. As a result of neglect,  it often leads to more serious situations.

Through the choice of neglecting one’s health, things such as obesity, certain ailments, diseases, and even terminal illnesses can arise from under the surface.

Although a lot of people may feel that they do not have the time or money to make healthy choices, I would beg to differ.

The choice of what you consume and put inside your body is completely yours and there are plenty of options to choose from. Many grocery stores offer healthy alternatives and areas of the store that specialize in natural foods as well as organic options.

Finding a way to bear the expense of particular foods comes with the cost of setting aside other choices such as entertainment costs or multiple social outings. Although some foods are definitely expensive, there are still ways around eating healthy and budgeting.

Some things to keep in mind…

  1. Know what foods suit your body best.
  2. Measure out the cost of healthy foods you enjoy most.
  3. Keep track of how often you go through food.
  4. After eating healthy for a duration of time, cravings for junk food begins to dissipate.

One of the key steps to transitioning to healthy options is educating yourself and developing an awareness of labels and internal ingredients.

With the surge of additives and preservatives as well as genetically modified foods, many people have flooded their bodies with chemicals, without the knowledge of having done such a thing. The good news is that with the wealth of knowledge available online, in libraries, and at book stores everyone can develop a discipline of their own health.

If you are seeking to take hold of your health and your body’s destiny it really helps to track what you eat and measure your intake.

America’s dietary issues continue to be a problem as more sick people end up in hospitals due to diet-related illnesses. With more programs and health experts getting their names out, we can help transition people from a fast-food frenzy into a healthier paradigm, by incorporating more nutritionally dense foods for the broader portion of our population.

Incorporating fresh diets and nutritionally dense foods is no easy task, but with time and dedication, like any other lifestyle choice it can lead to promising results.

The paradigm shift is happening and people are beginning to realize that many solutions concerning our health-related problems can be traced back to dietary based choices. Some things may indeed be curable through the course of radically changing one’s lifestyle and making better dietary choices.

Through the knowledge and the action of implementing better choices we can all make a difference in the communities struck by poverty and ill health. Our food supply has to grow in order to feed the growing population. If we can all make an effort to make healthier choices and support better organizations that provide for good health, then we can all strive together to form positive change!
